Born in the Dominican Republic but raised in New York, Cynthia grew up in a very diverse environment. Her exposure to various different cultures, ethnicities, populations and styles of living has shaped her appreciation and awareness of all things different in life. She understands the life struggles that many face, having witnessed it in her community, and having endured many family hardships of her own. As an Afro-Latina she is proud of her heritage and strives to instill the same level of pride in others. She values community and feels it is important to educate, up lift, and empower those around her. She is a firm believer in equality and believes everyone should have the same access to a high standard in quality of care.
Cynthia Ledesma, LMFT, holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy. She has over 10 years of experience working in the fields of mental health and social services. Her experience spans from working with clients who suffer from depression, anxiety, anger, bipolar disorder, substance use/disorders, grief & loss, incarceration, trauma, abuse, teen issues, self-esteem, and relational issues (family/couples). She has worked in private practices, mental health clinics and various government assistance agencies. She has provided services to adults, adolescents, families, and couples struggling with an array of life issues and circumstances.
Rita LaBrew, LMFT (She/Her/Hers)
Therapist at True Talk Marriage & Family Therapy PLLC. Rita is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist .
Rita holds a Master's Degree from Mercy College in Marriage and Family Therapy. Her experience includes working with families, individuals, couples, and adolescents in several environments, including foster care, child welfare, and private practice.
Rita's therapeutic expertise encompasses anxiety, depression, self-harm/ suicidal ideation, trauma/complex trauma, bipolar disorder, LGBTQ issues, and other additional complications. She is educated in several therapeutic techniques customized to meet the client's needs and goals. She prefers to see the client as the true "expert" in their life and herself as a guide and mentor. Rita finds that clients also appreciate her ability to bring a sense of authenticity and genuineness to the therapy process.

Gianny is licensed in New York with 6 years of professional work experience. She has experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, relationship issues, family conflicts, & coping with grief and loss. She believes in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. She will tailor the dialog and treatment plan to meet her client's unique and specific needs.
